At AiChatify, privacy is not an option, but the standard. Learn how we minimize and protect data.
Onze "Privacy-First" Belofte
Most analytics tools make heavy video recordings of sessions. AiChatify does it differently. We use Interaction Reconstructions. We map anonymous events (such as clicks and mouse movements) on static screenshots. This way, we do not store any videos and can never accidentally display personal data that may appear during a session.
1. What data do we collect?
We collect only 'behavioral data' to improve the user experience. This includes:
- Anonymized IP addresses: We never store complete IP addresses (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx).
- Click and scroll behavior: To generate heatmaps and rage-clicks.
- Chat interactions: The conversations that are had with the AI chatbot.
- Device Information: Browser type, screen resolution, and device type.
Let op: Wij passen automatische "Input Masking" toe. Dit betekent dat tekst die in invoervelden wordt getypt (zoals namen, wachtwoorden of creditcardgegevens) niet naar onze servers wordt gestuurd.
2. Where is the data stored?
AiChatify is a European product. All our data is processed and stored on secure servers within the European Union (EU). We strictly comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Retention periods
We do not store data longer than necessary for providing our service. The retention period depends on your subscription:
- Standard: 7 days retention.
- Professional: 30 days retention.
- Growth: 90 days retention.
After this period, the behavioral data will be automatically and permanently deleted.
4. Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
When you use AiChatify on your website, you act as the 'Data Controller' and we as the 'Data Processor'. To comply with the GDPR, we provide a standard Data Processing Agreement (DPA) . You can download and sign this in your dashboard under 'Account Settings'.
5. Your Rights
You have the right at all times to:
- Requesting access to the data we have from you.
- To submit a request for deletion of your data (right to be forgotten).
- Exporting your data (data portability).

Cookie Statement
AiChatify places functional and analytical cookies to remember the chat session and count unique visitors. Because we anonymize IP addresses and do not build profiles for advertising purposes, our tool often falls under the exception for privacy-friendly analytics. However, we always recommend including AiChatify in your own cookie banner.
